The sheer volume of utilities can be overwhelming at first, and navigating through them takes place through an interface that can't exactly be described as intuitive. There's no doubt about it - Hiren's Boot CD has pretty much everything you need to recover a dead OS, or at least take care of the files that were left in the wake of some accidental deletion, or virus infection.
